My Happiness Project revisited ~September

IMG_8213

As I mentioned briefly in my last post, this past month has been so great! I had decided when I turned 40 that I wanted to really make this year special by focusing on things that make me happy.  If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen some posts tagged with #myhappinessproject.  I started the month with an empowerment challenge which really started this huge shift within me. My mind is swirling with ideas that I hope I can share within the next coming months. In the meantime,  I thought I would take a few of those IG posts and share them as my first recap.

al and me

Allyson came home for a week at the end of her summer semester at school. I can’t believe she’s a junior in college now!

I faced my fear of public speaking and OWNED my meeting for Crop! Nailed it!

I stepped out of my comfort zone again by purchasing ( and rocking!) my first pair of Converse.

I did my very first split! ( ignore the unfinished ceiling )

I did my first standing mermaid pose too!

I am working on my fear of handstands (really the fear of face planting and breaking my face)

Enjoying beautiful sunrises

...And enjoying stunning sunsets even more.

It is hard to believe September is almost over and fall starts next week!  That just blows my mind.  Before we know it, we will be sipping eggnog and talking about how cold it is outside. I am going to try and savor ever second of the cooler temps and everything that makes fall awesome.

So tell me ~  How was your end of summer?  Did you step outside of your comfort zone or do something that you really enjoy?
