The happiest moment of my life

How is everyone doing today?  I am GREAT! Thank you for asking!  Why am I great? Because  next Monday I will be on the road home from Hanover, NH.  That’s right.  Allyson is coming home for 6 weeks holiday before her next term at school starts.  I can not wait! Happy times!

Today’s #Blogember prompt is all about the happiest moment of my life.  This made me think of a ton of memories but they are not to be confused with my proudest moments.  My proud moments would equal some of the happiest moments in Al’s life.  There is a difference there.  She was more then happy when she got her Dartmouth acceptance letter. I was more then proud.  She was really happy completing HS at the top of her class. I was really proud. But how do I choose what would be the happiest moment in my life?  Would it be when I married Dan or the day Al was born? I would say they are equally happy moments AND only two weeks apart from each other. So for me it would be the happiest couple of weeks in my life.  Here are some pictures that captured this best:

              That’s my dad!

I don’t ever remember being this big!
I bought a white suit at a department store. I didn’t care that I didn’t have a big fancy dress. I would have looked like a giant Fabroge egg! We kept it all very simple.

Probably the only PDA picture of me you will find….

Allyson at only a day or two old. What a little peanut!

The first of many snuggle times with her Nanny 🙂

Thanks for taking this walk down memory lane with me. It was nice of you to stop by!

  1. Oh, I love the pictures! Your parents were the best. They always were fun to sit with around the campfire and your dad with his sayings cracked me up! Thanks for the pictures.
