Remember when you would put the cereal boxes in front of us at the kitchen table to keep us from fighting with each other?
Remember being there for us when we fell down and scrapped our knee, lost a tooth or had a broken heart?
Remember making our favorite lunches on days off and always having hot chocolate on hand to warm us up after a long day of sledding?
….. Yeah, me too. Five years have past since you died. Two family members had to remind me of what today was. That doesn’t mean I forgot. It just means it hurts less.
